The core working principle of LED automotive headlights lies in the electro-optical conversion process of semiconductor light-emitting diodes (leds), combined with the adaptive design of the automotive electrical system, to achieve efficient and stable lighting functions. I. Core: The Light-Emitting Mechanism of LED Beads (Semiconductor Electro-Optical Conversion)
The essence of LED (Light Emitting Diode, light-emitting diode) is a semiconductor light-emitting device. Its light-emitting core is the "P-N junction" (a special structure formed by the splicing of P-type and N-type semiconductors), and the specific process can be divided into three steps:
Current injection

Photon emission (luminescence
The energy released by electron transitions is radiated in the form of "photons", forming visible light. The color of light (such as the white light commonly used in LED headlights) is determined by the bandgap width of the semiconductor material - automotive headlights mostly adopt a combination of blue light chips and yellow phosphors The blue light chip first emits blue light. Part of the blue light excites the phosphor to produce yellow light. The blue and yellow light mix to form white light visible to the human eye (there are also a few that directly synthesize white light using RGB primary color chips, but they are more expensive and are mostly used in high-end vehicle models).
